Rather than handing projects between separate firms, we lead each home from concept through completion as one accountable team. Clients work directly with us: two decision-makers who manage architecture, interiors, and construction.

Every project begins with a deep discovery process focused on lifestyle, values, and long-term vision. That framework guides every major decision, ensuring the final home reflects not just aesthetic preferences, but how the family truly lives.

Throughout the project, clients receive real-time financial visibility informed by our construction expertise, allowing them to make confident decisions before costs are locked in.

Founding Partner, Scally Design + Construct

Braeden founded Scally Design + Construct in 2022 to offer families a more cohesive way to build custom homes, one where design integrity and construction execution are equally prioritized.

As a New Zealand native, his design philosophy is deeply informed by the country’s landscapes, resulting in a grounded approach to architectural practice. He graduated first in his class with Honors from Auckland's Unitec School of Architecture, earning a Master of Architecture (professional).

His career spans leadership roles in nationally recognized practices across both the U.S. and New Zealand, where he developed a dual expertise in architecture and construction.

Braeden brings a rare dual perspective: the design rigor of an architect and the accountability of a builder. This integration allows him to protect clients’ vision while ensuring projects are delivered with financial and technical discipline.

He believes great architecture elevates daily life, not through excess, but through intention.

Shelby Scally | Assoc. AIA, Assoc. NCIDQ

Partner, Interiors and Procurement

Originally from the South, Shelby earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University and has lived and studied throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and New Zealand; an experience that continues to inform her thoughtful, globally influenced design perspective.

Before joining Scally Design + Construct, Shelby built her career at nationally recognized firms, managing the interior architecture design and delivery for large-scale mixed-use and hospitality projects. While the buildings were expansive, her focus was always on the human experience and how materials feel under hand, how light shapes a space, how circulation intuitively guides movement. She now brings that same level of rigor, coordination, and technical precision to the scale of a private residence.

At Scally Design + Construct, Shelby seamlessly bridges architecture and interiors. She moves fluidly from spatial planning to material selection to construction oversight, ensuring every decision supports the whole. The result is a home that feels cohesive, elevated, and deeply aligned with how a family truly lives; beautiful, but also practical, intentional, and built to last.
